Kaley Cuoco Is Keeping Junk At Bay, Showing Us That Healthy Eating Goes A Long Way

The female face of one of TVs most popular sitcoms, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, has opened up in an interview about her recent diet. New images of her latest photoshoot for Shape Magazine reveals Kaley Cuoco sporting a fitter body and she reveals in her interview that it takes a lot of work to get the right body. “I’ve never worked so hard to look good for something in my entire career,” she says. “But I didn’t starve myself or kill myself with exercise. I went slowly, and it paid off.”

Changing diets can really work well when you start eating healthy and eating right. We’ve learnt that the star has been eliminating junk food completely and cutting out snacking. She says her husband Ryan Sweeting, a professional tennis player, doesn’t worry about having too many calories since he burns them off immediately while on the court. “When we first got married, it was so much fun to eat like him,” She said. “We got into this habit we called the bedtime snack. The drawers next to the bed were filled with candy. Eventually, I realized it was mindless eating. So I cut that out.” Imagine that? Snack time all the time? As much as we love our snacks, we know they can’t be good for you if you’re onto them every minute of every day. Kaley Cuoco and her husband have changed the kinds of things they bring into the kitchen from the grocery stores “because we don’t eat crap anymore.” Although she isn’t vegan, she chooses more veggies in her meal and includes things like vegan butter because “it just feels better in my stomach.”

However, we can’t all be away from junk food for like, forever! Everyone has a much needed cheat day and that’s the one day of the week that you can totally indulge in your guilty pleasures and not feel bad about it knowing that after your cheat day, you’re just going to go back to healthy eating again. “I know when I’m being good all week long that come Sunday, I’m going to lie by the pool, have a drink, and eat some pizza…I’m just going to be in a bad mood all the time if there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.” We totally agree with that one. We need a little something to persevere and pull through the tough times, which in this case is a diet. Yes, diets are hard and if you’re food fanatics like us, you’ll know just how difficult that can be. Kaley Cuoco has also admitted to owning jeans in three different sizes but that is about to change as the star opens up about how much she enjoys yoga, having muscle and feeing toned.

“Now, when I look into the mirror and see the positive changes, I don’t want to go back to what I was doing,” she said. “Especially when my husband is like, ‘You look amazing!'” So it’s true, clean eating really changes things up for you and leaves you feeling better about your body and also feeling so much lighter. So, when you’re about to embark on a diet, and it seems to get too hard, remember that there’s a new you waiting at the end of the finish line and when you reach that goal, you are going to love yourself so much more!
