For those who don’t know, Kongunadu is a region within Tamil Nadu and shares borders with Kerala and Karnataka and has a very long and elaborate history.
And Beyond Madras at The Dining Room at the Park Hyatt is giving you a chance to experience food from this region that is completely South Indian in its flavours and style.
The food festival has been going on for a while, but this week they have changed the menu leading up to the end of the month. They will be serving seafood and lamb, amongst others, all cooked in South Indian flavours and spices. Treat yourself to a buffet that includes three starters, eight curries that go with four different kinds of breads and two different types of rice – all with the option of vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Indulge in purely South Indian desserts and sherbets as well.
