Jacqueline Fernandez’s Restaurant ‘Kaema Sutra’ Is Now Open In Colombo

Colombo-based Shangri La hotel opened its doors to the public late last month. With a colossal inventory of 500 rooms and a picturesque property overlooking the Indian Ocean on the One Galle Face location, this Sri Lankan landmark has a lot in store for its guests complete with the best of Sri Lankan and Chinese culture through entertainment, gastronomy and a gala dinner at the hotel’s Shangri-La Ballroom.

Today, shortly after the inauguration of the hotel, actress Jacqueline Fernandez announced the opening oh her restaurant Kaema Sutra at the five star nook. The Judwaa 2 star took to Instagram to announce the kick-off of her eatery, which has been set up under the expert supervision of celebrity chef Dharshan Munidasa. Kaema Sutra will serve up a contemporary Sri Lankan cuisine and an array of handpicked poisons complemented by a “selection of tapas and exciting new dishes”, the post read.

The restaurant will only be serving dinner (as of now), while the bar will start pouring from 5pm until midnight. Kaema Sutra opened its doors for the public on Tuesday, 12th December. The actress will also soon be making her mark in the Indian hospitality space with a restaurant in Mumbai.
