Its mango season, the best part of summers! And if we don’t make the most of it now, we’re surely going to miss it. Which is why when we found out that Coffee By Di Bella is offering a range of mango delights, we couldn’t help but make a trip down to the café.
The Ultimate Mango Festival
The Bandra outlet of Coffee By Di Bella is quite pretty and comfortable. It even has an outdoor section that’ll be just awesome in the evenings. As we had a look at their special mango menu, we were absolutely spoilt for choice. For drinks they had Mad Mango Freakshake, Fresh Mango Milkshake, Mango Iced Tea and a Minty Mango Slush. For eats the menu had Fresh Mango Waffles, Mango Nutella Waffles and Mango Oreo Sundae.
The earliest food memories of my childhood relates directly to a luscious glass of mango milkshake that my mum always made during the summers. There is not one time I remember that the refrigerator was ever without at least a litre of it ready to quench the heat. So clearly our choice was the fresh mango milkshake at Coffee By Di Bella. It was topped with whipped cream, mango syrup and a chunky mango piece. The milkshake was not sweetened with sugar letting the sweetness of mango work it’s magic. As we sipped on, chunky bits of mango also came along with the shake and so did the childhood memories!
We also ordered the Mango Nutella Waffles that came with a scoop of ice-cream and whipped cream on the side. The waffles were freshly made to order and drizzled generously with Nutella and chunks of fresh Alphonso. The combination works as generally Nutella waffles tend to become a heavy dessert but the fresh mango cuts through the heaviness and brings you a delectable treat. We loved the waffles and would definitely love to visit once again just for these.
You too should make a trip to Coffee By Di Bella before the mango season bids goodbye. The mango menu is definitely worth devouring and we highly recommend it.
