on

Every year, TripAdvisor releases a list of the world’s best eating spots as picked and recommended by travellers. On 13th October, the platform announced 2017’s Travellers’ Choice Awards, naming the best fine-dining restaurants in India and around the world.

How Are Winners Chosen?

This year’s TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards acknowledged almost 400 fine-dining nooks around the world including the Top 25 in the World, plus dedicated lists for Asia, Europe, India, Canada, Mexico, Australia, South America, South Pacific, the U.K. and the U.S.

So, how does the web portal pick the winners? According to Hospitality Biz India, awardees were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews for restaurants around the world, gathered over a 12-month period.
