“I believe in making lifestyle changes when it comes to my food”, Khloé Kardashian On Controversial Post-Baby Diet

on

Reality TV star and entrepreneur Khloé Kardashian, who gave birth to daughter, True on April 12 with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, is being slammed for her “idiotic” food choices post the delivery of her child.

Post Partum Promotion

The 33-year-old, who recently shared the low carb diet that’s helping her shift weight from her post-partum body, took to Instagram to do a promotional post for Flat Tummy Co.’s “meal replacement shakes” and this may have cost her a few followers. Kardashian shared an image of herself lounging on a kitchen counter with the shake, encouraging her followers to try out the product.

“ I’ve been working out and using @flattummyco meal replacement shakes to help me get my tummy back to where it was. I know it’s not going to be an easy journey, but I’m feeling SO ready to do this and after using the shakes, I’m feeling really good and definitely feeling the difference. Baby weight is no joke! If you’re wanting to try them you should get on it because there’s a 20% off sale going on right now!”, she captioned the image.

The #ad did not go down too well with a number of Mama Koko’s followers, who slammed her for having a negative influence on girls and replacing meals with liquid. Concerned mothers were not very happy with Kardashian’s obsession with losing weight and a flat tummy.

“Setting The Wrong Tone”

Responding to the online outrage, the Revenge Body host tweeted: “I truly dislike when people report I’ve lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short amount of time or when people claim I’m doing these ridiculous diets. It’s really setting the wrong tone”, she wrote, adding “I believe in making lifestyle changes when it comes to my food.” Khloé added that while dieting is a great option, it should also be complemented with a good workout regime.

This social media uproar comes just a few weeks after Khloé’s sister, Kim Kardashian West was called out for promoting Flat Tummy Co’s ‘appetite suppressant lollipops’. The mother-of-three was called out for the “toxic influence” she had on all her followers, especially young girls.
