Hrithik Roshan Moves Away From Meat, Turns Vegetarian

on

After a grueling time both personally and professionally, Hindi movie star Hrithik Roshan finally has some pleasant news to share with fans. The actor has wrapped up shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro, which is slated to release on 12th August 2016.

The actor is known for going that extra mile when it comes to his physique and diet. Time and again proving that there is no feat impossible for this hunk – be it loading up a belly for Guzaarish or packing some abs for Dhoom 2. Once again Roshan’s health regime is in the spotlight and this time it’s his diet that is garnering all the paparazzi flash.ashutosh-hrithik

Go Green!

Hrithik Roshan has decided to ditch meat and go green. It’s okay, you can breathe now. The actor despite being a meat lover has decided against it in a conquest to test his limits and to “explore the other side”.

The sudden change in grocery aisles stems from Hrithik’s desire to test how his body would function on a predominantly plant-based diet. And given that his next project starts alittle later, he has enough time to do all the experiments that he desires.

Although, keeping in mind the vitality of proteins, the actor is essentially an eggetarian since he’ll still be eating egg whites.Awesome-Body-Work-By-Hrithik-Roshan-In-Krrish-3

Dr. Rupali Datta, Chief Nutritionist at Smartcooky says: “Meats are a complete source of protein which means that they contain all essential amino acids that your body requires. But you can get complete proteins by combining cereals and pulses.

“The amino acid profiles of both compliments each other making it a form of complete protein as good as meat. In fact, whey protein is superior to egg protein. Sprouting or fermenting foods is another way to improve the quality of protein in vegetarian foods.“Mohenjo daro official first look by hrithikroshan.com .

The Jodha Akbar star isn’t the first to give up meat. Recently, Aamir Khan too went vegetarian and then completely gave up on milk and milk products during his shoot for Dangal. Additionally actors like Jacqueline Fernandez and Kangana Ranaut (ahem!) too are a few active names in the vegan society.
