Here’s Something Much Healthier Than Coconut Oil
According to reports by Business Insider, the American Heart Association has updated their guidelines on fats and goes out to tell people not to consumer saturated fats. These saturated fats are found in foods like butter and coconut oil and can even lead to type-2 diabetes.
Switch To Olive Oil
The association believes that most of saturated fats in the diet of the US citizens comes from animal products but the plant based food like palm and coconut oil can also contain them. But there is a way out, coconut oil is quite similar in benefits as olive oil and the later has only one gram of saturated fat whereas coconut oil has 12 grams.
So stick to olive oil instead of coconut and stay healthy.
