Head To Dhaba – Estd 1986 For Their Pind Diyan Galliyan Menu

on

If you’ve relocated to Bangalore from the North, then you’ll know that it can be difficult to get a taste of authentic North Indian cuisine. Especially during winter, it can be tough missing out on flavors and dishes from home. Luckily, Dhaba – Estd 1986 has got your back with a specially curated winter menu that will have you reminiscing about your favorite dishes!

We started our meal with the Tandoori “Fal-Fruit” a delicious vegetarian dish of assorted fruits, marinated with and skewered in the Tandoor, an enticing mix of sweet and sour! We also enjoyed the Nargisi Seekh, a lovely sort of take on a scotch egg, with the boiled egg being wrapped in an aromatic mutton mix that sat in bit of gravy.

If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, you won’t want to miss trying the “Kala Sha Kala” Kukkad. Marinated with blackened spices, this dish is definitely one for the ‘Gram! From the mains, we adored the Methi Matar Malai a creamy cashew gravy served with green peas and fresh methi that had a delicious smokiness to it, definitely a dish we’ve got to go back for!

Of course, no winter menu would be complete without Sarson Da Saag, and we’ve got it on good authority that this mustard leaf staple, definitely hit the mark in terms of flavor and is probably one of the best that we’ve had in Bangalore.

On the dessert side of things, we loved the Gajar Da Halwa – a true classic, that definitely brings back a good amount of nostalgia. The Gulukand Kheer was also a delight, with the subtle flavor of rose petals providing an exciting new avatar to the much loved Kheer! So, if you’re looking to get a taste of home, head to Dhaba to retry some of your favorite winter staples!
