Head To The Best Rooftop Bars in Mumbai For A Sublime Experience

on

One of our favourite ways to unwind after a long day’s work is with a strong cocktail, some light bites and the company of great friends. This experience is made even better when had on a rooftop; no one can argue with that magical wind-in-your-hair and on-top-of-the world feeling, can they? That said, here are some of the best rooftop bars in Mumbai.

Aer at the Four Seasons

Aer is the Four Seasons’ hotel thirty fourth floor bar in Worli which offers a view of the city and the sea beyond. The cocktails are well crafted and the light foods delicious.

Dome at the Intercontinental

Dome sits atop the Intercontinental Hotel on Marine Drive and therefore offers a view of the Queen’s Necklace. As well as cocktails, it offers light bites including sushi and tapas.

The Harbor Bar at The Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai

Here’s another bar in a five star hotel that will blow you away. The Harbour bar at the Taj Hotel chain’s flagship hotel overlooks the Gateway of India and serves premium whiskeys, cocktails and tapas.

Skyy at the Ramada Powai

Skyy boats dining areas amidst green trees and manmade ponds on the rooftop of the Ramada Powai. It offers full course meals from Pan Asian, Italian and Middle Eastern fare as well as a selection of wines, spirits and cocktails.

Bayview Cafe

If you’re on a bit of a budget and can’t  really afford to head to five stars head to Bayview Cafe instead. It’s a casual dining restaurant atop the Hotel Harbour View and has a view of the Gateway of India. We love the fries and chicken cutlets at the cafe.

TRE

TRE is a newly opened lounge in Lower Parel’s Raghuvanshi Mills Compound. The focus at this rooftop bar is on cocktails, but it also offers some delicious light bites. Stay tuned for a full review.
