Move over platinum, red and black card holders because Rob Lowe might just be the happiest man in the States as of today. The lucky man happens to be one of the few people who own a McDonald’s Gold Card. Lucky and happy being understatements considering Lowe has free supply of McD goodies for a good year!

So as it turns out, “there is a super secret and super rare McDonald’s gold card in the hands of a number of royal McDonald’s elites”, reports NextShark.

But how did he manage one? Yep, that was our first reaction too. Apparently, the actor got access to the card through a connection. The connection being a friend who’s father invented the classic Egg McMuffin as well as the McD mascot, Ronald McDonald. Wow, suddenly we’re more envious of this ‘friend’ of Lowe’s!

“My buddy in Santa Barbara, his dad was one of the original McDonald’s franchisee and he invented the Egg McMuffin. He invented it and that to me is the greatest human achievement.

“He invented Ronald McDonald. He’s the guy that said to Ray Kroc you should have like a pedophile creepy looking clown”, he explained to an awestruck Kimmel.

This much sought after Lowe recently unveiled McGold Card on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show. The actor proudly gushed that the shiny piece of golly gave the holder unlimited supply of free McDonald’s food at the Santa Barbara and Goleta chains for a year.
