Taking the New Year excitement up a notch, The Gourmet High Street comes to Delhi-NCR again with its third chapter being held from February 10-12, 2017 at DLF Cyber Hub, Gurugram. And this time the event looks fancier and the line-up even more jam-packed. The three-day culinary extravaganza will feature a number of chef demos, mixology sessions, demonstrations, and more to engage the food and cooking enthusiasts.
What Is It?
A “Food Lovers Paradise” The Gourmet High Street is an occasion to celebrate food! Envisioned as an annual destination event, the festival offers food and drink lovers, a rare opportunity to experience, educate and celebrate food along side leading celebrity chefs and food connoisseurs, reads the event description.
Speaking on the concept, Kavneet Sahni, Founder, The Gourmet High Street said, “The Gourmet High Street is one of the rare festivals where people not only eat and drink, but also get ample opportunities to learn about the nuances of food that interest them. In addition, one also gets to interact with and get inspired by leading celebrity chefs, mixologists and sommeliers. Our new venue Cyber Hub is already a crowd puller for the pleasing number of eating options it offers.”
Why Should You Go?
The event provides visitors a platform to not just eat but also learn and explore the subject of food in depth through a number of specialized categories like the Culinary Grind, which is an exclusive platform hosting the League Of extraordinary chefs like Sanjeev Kapoor, Vikas Khanna, Amrita Raichand, Saransh Goila, Sarah Todd, Vikramjit Roy, Vicky Ratnani to name a few who will conduct cooking demos.
Additionally there is the Cooking Studio that gives enthusiasts a chance to learn cooking techniques from the masters in person; a Zone for Food Entrepreneurs – an initiative dedicated especially for entrepreneurs who have left their existing occupations to a new one involving food; an exciting Budding Chefs Kitchen where kids learn about food – from cooking classes to designing their own recipe books to chef’s movies theatre, this zone is for the cooking prodigies. And most importantly, The Sipping Turf – drinks theatre – a place to partake in tea and coffee tastings, and attend talks by top mixologists and sommeliers about the finest international and Indian drinks.
Basically we don’t see why you should be going anywhere but to the Gourmet High Street this February. Learn more about the event on their official website.
