Gorge On Sumptuous Coastal Thai Food During A Three Month Long Festival In Mumbai

For now’s the time to head to Nara for a three-month long coastal food festival starting from November and ongoing all the way till the end of January. So go on, dig in!

Coastal Thai Delicacies

There’s no way that one can ignore that rich coastal fish and seafood of the Arabian Sea as well as the exotic ones. Nara brings out the best of Thai food with delicacies like Bombay Duck with Mango Salad (Yam Pla Tord) a mix of crispy Bombay duck marinated with Thai herbs served with a mango salad; Salt and Pepper Squid Rings (Pla Mok Tord Grob) crispy squid rings marinated with black pepper and chilli garlic, served with chilli dip; Stir Fry Prawns with wild coriander (Phad Goong Pakchi Parang) prawns stir fried in two sauces and cooked to perfection, Grilled Mackerel with Black Pepper Sauce (Pla Yang Pik Thai Dom) mackerel marinated and grilled with Chef’s special sauce served with black pepper sauce on the side.

You can also dig into sumptuous food like Prawns Satay (Goong Satay) barbecued turmeric and coconut marinated prawns with peanut sauce and cucumber relish. If you like John Dory fish, the menu will give you three options to choose from that include John Dory Satay (Pla Satay) barbecued turmeric and coconut marinated John Dory with a peanut sauce and cucumber relish or the John Dory Wrapped in Banana Leaf (Hor Mock Pla) or John Dory in Chilli Lime Sauce (Pla Neung Ma Nao). Next up is the Chilean Sea Bass (Nuang Pla) steamed with ginger and spring onion.

For those who like it grilled and perhaps going with a large group, order a delectable Grilled Seafood Platter (Thalay Yang Yai) that include grilled lobster, tiger prawns and John Dory marinated with Thai flavours. So dig into some awesome flavours this winter at Nara and say Sawasdee Ka.
