If you ever thought that only a gym membership or a top-notch trainer could get you that perfect hind, Gigi Hadid may just prove you wrong. The Victoria’s Secret angel, supermodel, and tomato soup enthusiast has an interesting trick up her sleeve for achieving butt goals, which she revealed at an event for Reebok earlier this week.
Hadid disclosed that her fitness goal leading up to the 2016 Victoria’s Secret fashion show was to build muscles “in the right place” and perk up her butt. And to “perk it up” she resorts to doing squats in her kitchen. Odd as it may sound, it is a brilliant way of keeping your body toned and in enviable shape. The model even explained how the whole thing works.
“Recently for the VS show, I put a sticky note in my kitchen, and every time I walked past the squats sticky note, I had to do 15 squats,” Gigi said. “It’s a good trick because it reminds you that you have to have integrity with yourself. No one else is watching, so I have to just do it for myself.”
That said, Gigi admitted that she despises doing squats because “they’re painful, and you have to do so many for them to work”, which is probably why Hadid is known to swear by her abs regimens that give her that flawlessly sculpted form on runways and magazine covers. But clearly, the squats love her!
