If you’re a foodie you have obviously heard of Farzi Café owned by the famouse father-son duo Jiggs and Zorawar Kalra. The good news is that they have opened their third property in Aerocity, Delhi. We were super excited to visit and try out their fusion dishes and boy, we were surprised with every dish that was presented beautifully on our table. Several restaurants try and modify Indian cuisines but more often than not the flavours just don’t fit right. However, we definitely can’t say that about Farzi Café. They have an exhaustive menu covering pan-Indian dishes that are fused with international flavours.
Some of the dishes that we tried were Dal Chawal Arancini (an Italian and Indian fusion dish as the name suggests), Popcorn Ki Keech ( from their Lohri special menu), Malai Badam Brocolli, Masala Jackfruit Cigar and for Main Course we tried the Paneer Tikka Masala with Naan. For drinks we tried the Bottle Ka Gin and Chaai Pani which was a tea flavoured vodka based drink and we absolutely loved it! The presentation of each dish was remarkable. For dessert, we had a deconstructed Lemon Tart and Shahi Gajar Ka Halwa with Phirni ( From their Lohri Menu). We ended our meal with meetha-paan encased in gujiya-shaped candyfloss!
