California Pizza Kitchen is well-known for its delicious pizzas, pastas and salads. For the months of December and January, they will also be known for their mouth-watering desserts. California Pizza launched its all-new dessert menu as part of its Dessert Festival happening at their outlets all across India and we were invited to take an extremely close look at the preparation of few of those delectable dandys.
CPK’s new desserts menu is filled with dishes that can satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. From brownies, phyllo cups, nutty bars to our personal favourites, yule log and strawberry phyllo cups, the menu dances with desserts sure to cure your craving. Chef Anupam, from CPK’s Whitefield, Bengaluru Outlet, gave us a demonstration on how to prepare strawberry phyllo cups and it was as good, if not better than what we expected. The delicious and freshly made Italian pastry cup is filled with fresh cut strawberries and caramelised popcorn and topped it off with some strawberry cream. Yes, we were as awe-struck by the look and the taste of the dessert as you are while reading this. The winner of our coveted “recommendation” award will definitely go to this specific dessert.
The dessert festival at California Pizza Kitchen will tickle your senses from December 17th to January 17th at all their outlets in Bengaluru. Classic French Choux pastry filled with lemon curd cream
4. Strawberry Phyllo Cup
Italian pastry cup filled with strawberry cream served with fresh strawberries and caramelised popcorns.

Celebrate the festive season with Christmas delicacy, dried fruits, silk chocolate cream rolled in chocolate sponge
6. Baked Alaska
Classic frozen dessert with strawberry and vanilla ice cream, layered between vanilla sponge and Italian meringue
7. Choco Nutty Bar
Caramel infused with salted peanuts and topped with dark Belgian chocolate fudge
