After the entire debacle that was Ardor (NOT Arbor) creating a ‘female beer’ (yes, it is as patronising and misogynistic as you would expect), Geist is out here changing the script by celebrating International Beer Day on August 3rd, with the hashtag #GirlsWhoDrinkBeer).
Geist is collaborating with Monika Manchanda, avant-guard food writer and consultant, to celebrate women who drink beer, be it light or dark, mild or bitter, whatever suits your palate! You’ll enjoy a Geist brewery tour, where you’ll get to meet Head Brewer Vidya Kubher and Geetanjali Chitnis their Head of Brand and Communication, and enjoy a craft beer tasting session!
Geist is also running a fun competition, where anyone who identifies as female can win tickets to the event, and may bring another female identifying friend along as well! All you have to do is follow @drinkgeist and @monikamanchanda on Instagram and comment on their post letting them know what your favourite starter or snack is to pair with beer using the hashtag #girlswhodrinkbeer! The contest closes on July 28th, so you’d best get those fingers moving!
