Gear Up For ‘This Crazy Food Festival’ This Weekend In Mumbai

Get ready for the second edition of ‘This Crazy Food Festival’ in Mumbai happening on 8th and 9th December at The Royal Western Indian Turf Club (RWITC). Being organised by the A La Carte Company, this food festival will feature gourmet food across a variety of cuisines including live kitchens as well. Not only it is about the food, this festival is jam packed with activities including the INDIAN 1000 Guineas Race on 9th and 10th of December.

This Crazy Food Festival Returns

The founders of the festival, Rekha Pamani-Gulati and Nisha Sareen are all set to showcase promising an extravagance of food, wine and entertainment. “This city is starved of great outdoor experiences. So looking forward to This Crazy Food Fest,” said actor Kareena Kapoor Khan to The Spartan Poker, one of the sponsors of the festival. “We have experienced some fantastic international festivals…It’s heartening to know one of this caliber is launching here. Look forward to being there,” said actor Saif Ali Khan sharing the views of his wife.

What To Expect

This Crazy Food Festival is perfect for foodies, oenophiles, and those who simply love to have fun. One can sniff, swirl and sip on some wines. Or can indulge in delicious food made by home chefs, various restaurants stalls and even buy gourmet food products. Live restaurants and home chefs have been included in the festival to create a unique experience. Plus you can also hit the all-day cocktail bar and even shop for artsy home decor. There also going to be exciting activities like dance classes, sports activities, foot spa,  live music and performances by artists and bands, and a Capoeira display, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.

Amongst the variety of activities, the race is of course the biggest attraction. “It’s nice that the Horseracing, the sport of Kings and Poker, the mind sport that has captured the interest of India in recent years, have come together at this wonderful event. We are delighted to be associated with a race as prestigious as the 1000 Guineas. This Crazy Food Festival should be a fun and enjoyable two days of excellent food and drink, entertainment and of course magnificent horse racing,” said Sameer Rattonsey of The Spartan Poker. There are also going to be a special kids’ zone so that they can have a great day as well with the jugglers, mime artists, clowns, magicians, balloon art, stilt walker and none other than Santa Claus.
