    Can I know the best method to melt chocolate in a perfect way without burning it?

    Hi Katherine,

    There are a few ways to melt chocolate without burning it and hopefully these options below will help!

    Option 1. Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and then put it into a microwave safe bowl. Stick in the microwave for 30 seconds and then when you remove it, gently press down on the chocolate to make it softer. Put it in again for another 30 seconds and it should be done.

    Option 2. Boil some milk, either on the stove or in the microwave and then pour the hot milk over the chocolate and mix it nicely. That way your chocolate is also a little finer than it would be without milk. Instead of milk, you can also use cream.

    Option 3. Use the double boiler method. In a big bowl, put some water and put the bowl on the stove. Let it boil and then add another bowl on top of that with the chocolate and because of the heat and the steam, the chocolate will melt. Make sure you turn the flame off before the chocolate burns though!
