It could be a thing, a habit, a phenomena, a sound, a sight, anything, if it annoys you, it’s your pet peeve (no, Donald Trump is not America’s pet peeve.). For example, nail biting, someone dragging their feet while walking, spelling errors, making chewing noises, too many hashtags, standing on the wrong side of the escalator, and so on. Pet peeves can exist in the workplace, at home, on the streets, or even at a dining table.
