First Eat Is Changing The Way Gurgaon Offices Eat

Living the “fast-paced corporate drone life” can be all sorts of taxing. Especially on one’s healthy, because let’s face it, no one has the time to eat proper food and workout right when you’ve targets to chase and deadlines to meet. But the least you can do to assure your future self a healthy body is eat nourishing and healthy meals. And that is precisely what Gurgaon-based nutrition tech start-up First Eat aims to achieve, a healthier working population.

“An average individual spends majority of the time at work. At First Eat, we are trying to build a healthy nutrition consumption habit at workplaces. One of our premium accounts is with PepsiCo HQ in Gurugram, wherein we are serving calorie counted and nutrient controlled meals for employees over the counter, through a dedicated health food outlet.” says Mannat Wadehra, Co-Founder, First Eat.

The start up has ventured into the corporate scenario by introducing health tuck shops that are currently serving over 5000 meals monthly across several offices in Gurugram. With the ulterior motive of turning hunger into a wellness activity, these tuck shops provide only the healthiest of meals to its consumers.

“The corporate presence coupled with subscription model has been a vital tool for us to enhance our operational efficiency massively. It brings in the big element of demand predictability and further aids the inventory planning and delivery scheduling. This model offers the huge benefit of revenue prediction through recurring sales as well. Additionally, this model brings to the table, the boon of easy calculation of lifetime value of a customer, inventory management, flexibility in scaling and resource allocation.” added Rishabh Tickoo Co-Founder, First Eat.

“An old saying “let your diet be your medicine” holds very much relevant in today’s hectic schedules. Team First Eat is actively pursuing this thought and has executed it very well.” – shares Dr. Sushila Kataria, Director of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Medanta- The Medicity, Gurugram.

First Eat is also a partner for Medanta’s flagship initiative- Mission Stop Dengue. With a team of experienced nutritionists and an efficient supply chain at the back end, the start up seeks to increase its corporate foothold by 300% in the next 5-6 months by switching up impulse munching for healthy eating.
