Filipino Fast Food Chain Jollibee To Expand Internationally Over The Next Few Years!

on

Australians who have ever visited the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore or Vietnam and satisfied fast food cravings at Jollibee, a Filipino fast food chain will be super excited to hear that Jollibee has announced plans to launch in Australia!

What’s Jollibee?

For those of you that haven’t had the fortune of tasting food at Jollibee and are wondering what exactly we’re on about, allow us to back up a little.

Jollibee

Jollibee is a Filipino based fast food chain that has been called Asia’s answer to McDonalds. Indeed, Jollibee’s website itself claims it serves “Burger meals similar to McDonald’s, but with sweeter sauces.”

Other items on Jollibee’s menu include rice meals, such as the Garlic Pepper beef with rice, noodle meals and sandwiches.

Where’s Jollibee?

Jollibee launched in the Philippines in 1978 and then expanded across Asia to Brunei, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore. It also ventured into the United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

Jolly

As well as planning to launch in Australia (in 2017), Jollibee is planning on expanding its presence to Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the UK and Canada.

If that means more delicious Asian interpretations of the burger, we can’t foresee any complaints from the public, can you?
