From the stables of Out of The Blue, the provenance of Bandra’s newest deli centers around Rahul Bajaj and Chef Vivek Swamy’s deep rooted farm to fork commitment that ensures each ingredient is authentically sourced, thoughtfully prepared and minimally processed. Sourced from earth, crafted by hand, Deli by The Blue is an artisan delight that will serve the best of dips, sauces, breads -bakes-sandwiches-pizzas by the slice, granola and molasses the city has ever seen.
“We want to change the way people eat by making high quality products available at a fraction of the cost compared to what the market currently sells at. It’s about ensuring our following generations grow healthily by eating food that is devoid of pesticides, is ethically produced and minimally processed. We hope our small endeavour is the voice of a bigger revolution that can bring forth India’s agricultural superheroes and create a sustainable atmosphere for organic produce that is affordable daily and for generations to come,” opines Rahul Bajaj, Owner, Deli by The Blue.
Wowing gourmands will be a product profile spread across boulangerie (breads), fromagerie (cheeses), patisserie (sweets and desserts), viennoiserie (puff pastries), sauces & dips, selection of organic coffees, teas & tisanes, savouries and many more. For the conscious, on offer are a variety of Vegan milkshakes, flavoured iced teas and coffees and a host of other gluten free, jain and eggless products. Soon to be introduced are their collection of charcuteries (select meats), gourmet ice-creams, breakfast boxes and a line of natural preservative condiments.
Specialty mentions include the avant-garde inventions such as vegan baby mozzarella, pesto arugula mustard, turmeric latte powder, black rice muesli, pomegranate molasses, black rice bread, smoked chicken and chipotle quiche, black rice and beetroot crackers / jowar and parmesan crackers, orange custard croissant, assortment of cookies and granola bars etc.
