Enjoy A Traditional Chinese New Year At Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru

This Chinese New Year, celebrate the traditional way at Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru. The Hong Kong-based hotel will show you just how to ring in the Year of the Dog, the right way. From articulately conceived menus at Shang Palace to a riveting Lion Dance performance – they’re doing it all!

The four-day-long festive affair will start on the evening of 15th February with the traditional Lion Dance at the Lobby and will transcend to the convivial atmosphere at the restaurant where a dumpling wrapping activity, considered auspicious and integral to the celebration will take place.

The Lion Dance will also be held at auspicious timings in the morning of 16th February. Yusheng, better known as the Prosperity Toss for good fortune will also be prepared and served at every table. Guests can revel in the festivities with a wealth of dishes like Chinese New Year cake Nian Gao, Sichuan Steam Chicken, Ganshow Style Prawn, Lobster in Butter Garlic Sauce, Pokchoi Dumpling which are perfectly paired with a wide range of beverages to choose from.

Complete the merriment by participating in games and win prizes at the lucky draw. So come and celebrate the festival of abundance and love over lunch or dinner at Shang Palace that will be dressed to impress. The set menu is priced at INR 2000++ (inclusive of soft drinks and chilled non-alcoholic beverage) and 2800++ (inclusive of unlimited house beer) per person.
