Enjoy Succulent Kebabs On A Rooftop In Mumbai

on

What’s enticing about the kebabs is probably not being brought in ready from the kitchen but taking in their wafting aroma as they sizzle. Grills and barbecues are the in-thing this winter and we’re sure you’ll make the most of it. The Orchid Mumbai has an ongoing Jashn-E-Kebab festival and will feature sumptuous Middle Eastern delicacies. All this and much more on their serene rooftop restaurant, Mostly Grills.

Jashn-E-Kebab

The Mughlai rulers had brought with them their style with regards to architecture, music, and of course food. Awadhi cuisine prevalent in Lucknow is a live example of that and is filled with stories. The tale of the Galawati Kebab wherein a Nawab unable to chew ordered the softest one possible. These succulent, meaty treats have become a part of our food culture and The Orchid Mumbai is all set to take it to the next level with a rooftop view, sweet aroma of spices from the kitchen, live music and interactive dining elements.

The kebabs inspired from the Mughlai recipes will be served to the customers at this unique festival. Executive Chef Navid Sayyad and Master Chef Shadab Khan are all set to make these mouth-watering kebabs and grills. One can enjoy marinated chicken, fish, lamb and prawns with just the right amount of seasonings. The starters in the Jashn-E-Kebab festival are afi Seekh, Siyamirch-ka-Murg,  Zafrani Paneer Tikka, Dahi ke kebab, Tandoori Bharwan Aloo, Subz ki Sheekh, Sarsoon-ke-Phool, Rajme ki tikki and lots more.

There’s plenty to fill your belly with sumptuous mains like Achari Jhinga,  Karahi Shurkh Gosht, Mahi-Dum-Kaliyan, Hyderabadi Degi Gosht, Methi Murgh, Begmati do pyaza, Shahi Nihari, Makhmali Paneer, Achari kofta curry, Soya palak-ki-Saag, Dum Aloo Kashmiri, Phoolon-ki-Subzi and Khumb Shahi Korma. Where we talk of Mughlai food, there is no way that biriyani does not play a role. Relish Lucknowi Gosht Biryani, Chicken-Dum-Biryani and Tarkari Biryani during the festival as well as special desserts like Sheer Khurma, Kong phirni, Lagan wala halwa and Arsh-Ka-Meetha. So head to The Orchid Mumbai and delve into a Nawabi style dining experience.

Dates & Timing: Ongoing till 1st December | 7 PM to 12 AM

Location: Mostly Grills, The Orchid Mumbai, 70/c, Nehru Road, Adjacent to Domestic Airport, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai
