Eat Before Sunset

“Only one thing which I have followed in my life, which I would like to share with you all is that eat your food before sunset. It will make a lot of difference,” professes the actor.

An ardent believer of finishing his meals before sun down, here’s what Akshay Kumar’s diet consists of.

For breakfast, he likes to keep in touch with his desi side with parathas and a glass of milk. This is followed by a bowl of fresh fruits at noon.

Lunch comprises of vegetables, dal, roti and chicken accompanied by a bowl of curd.

Dinner is usually light with soup, salad and vegetables and if, of course, had before 8 pm or sunset. The actor swears by home cooked food and avoids outside food as much as possible.akshay-brothers

 

Fit & Fine

When it comes to fit celebrities, Akshay’s is probably the first name that pops into everyone’s head. And for good reason. The actor is known for his strict heath regimes and his expertise in martial arts.

The actor gets up at 4.30 in the morning everyday and goes for a warm walk at the beach. The walk is followed up with an hour of martial arts alternating between kick-boxing and shadow boxing.

Akshay adds in some stretching and yoga exercises and meditates for an hour, as he believes it helps maintain inner balance and de-stresses.akshay4802

In addition to his workout, he also swims, plays basketball at least thrice a week and goes trekking regularly to keep his stamina up.

He keeps mixing various workout routines so that his routine does not get monotonous.

While shooting when the star doesn’t have time to devote to martial arts he prefers climbing a staircase. He even has an artificial tree in his gym which he climbs regularly.
