Eat The Traditional Thai Way At Nara Mumbai

on

Nara Thai is a well-known name amongst the Thai food lovers in Mumbai. Here you can try a range of Thai dishes be it soups, salads, appetizers, curry, seafood, rice and noodles and have an invigorating experience each time. To enhance this experience, the restaurant has decided to take a step towards the traditional eating style that is, with togetherness.

The Traditional Thai Eating Style

Generally in restaurants, one orders the soup, the salad, an appetizer, one main and a dessert. These can be based on an individual basis or one can order quantity-wise depending on the number of people on the table. But, in Thailand all the dishes ordered are for each one dining on the table. The idea is to share and enjoy. Imagine enjoying the same soup and make the dish a conversation starter. Plus, eating alone is considered a bad luck in Thailand, another significant reason for the tradition. Many Indian communities also promote eating together so this change by Nara can be ushered in with gusto in Mumbai.

What To Expect

Nara Thai on weekdays will be serving ‘not a six course meal’ which of course has six courses but will be served to everyone to have the authentic Thai experience. They’ve kept signature dishes for this menu so people can taste the best of what the restaurant has to offer (good for a first-timer). Vegetarians can relish the Tom Yum Soup, Fried Morning Glory, Pomelo Salad, Seasonal Vegetables in hot and sour sauce, Stir Fried Noodles in sweet soy sauce, Green Curry Fried Rice with vegetables and Nara’s signature ice cream.

For those who love meat and seafood can enjoy Tom Yum Soup with chicken or prawns, North-eastern Spicy Chicken Salad, Stir Fried Chicken with chilli and hot basil, Crispy Fried Seabass with garlic, peppercorn and herbs, Stir Fried Noodles with chicken in chilli and hot basil or Fried Rice with chicken in chilli and hot basil and Nara’s signature ice cream. So there’s something for everyone including delicious Thai food with a traditional experience.
