We’re no stranger to weirdly flavoured Kit Kats; Japan has given us Pancake, Melon and Mascarpone Kit Kats in the past. Now, Thailand is getting into the oddly flavoured Kit Kat game; rumour has it that Nestle will be releasing a Durian Kit Kat.
A Tourism Initiative
According to reports, Thailand’s Tourism Minister, Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul is talking to Nestle Thailand to have them create Kit Kat flavours inspired by local Thai offerings. These may include Mangosteen, Tamarind and Durian Kit Kats.
As you would know if you read our article about our trip to Thailand last year, Durian is a close cousin of the jackfruit, a fiery rich fruit with a pungent smell.
Omg, Kit Kat Thailand is making a durian limited edition!! Do I know anyone travelling here soon? I need 😍 pic.twitter.com/6Bus3c1yMt

We’ve had Durian chocolates in the past and the proved to be delicious, so we can bet Durian Kit Kats will be a treat indeed.
