Zomato has announced a partnership with Dunkin Donuts and Burger King recently to carry their complete range of products on their online platform. This is first of a kind partnership for Dunkin Donuts, with Burger King already partnering with Swiggy earlier. Dunkin Donut’s wide range of products including, burgers, sandwiches and wraps will be available for online ordering across 33 outlets in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Dev Amritish, President & Chief Operating Officer, Dunkin’ Donuts India, said, “We’re very pleased to announce the partnership with Zomato. This is the first time we will be delivering our burger range on any online platform, and we are excited about partnering with Zomato due to their presence and reach and an excellent customer interface. We hope our customers will like our increased accessibility.” Dunkin Donuts’ newly launched “Too Much Burgers” menu will also be available through Zomato’s online portal. Dunkin Donuts had previously been lagging behind other franchises such as McDonalds, Starbucks and Cafe Coffee Day in offering their products through online portals like Zomato and Swiggy.
Burger King, with already an existing partnership with Swiggy, has included Zomato as part of its tech delivery platform to further expand its reach to its customers. Burger King will be offering its entire range of burgers online to customers in the Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune areas. Rajeev Varman, CEO of Burger King India, said. “Online-apps and mobile penetration have changed the way business is being done worldwide. We believe tech-enabled solutions will give us a chance to keep pace with the customers. This strategic tie-up has opened avenues for faster growth. We are looking to strengthen our partnership further through various collaborations in the future.” Burger King launched in India a year ago with over 35 outlets already in place and a further 15 outlets by the end of this year.
