DropKaffe Coffee Will Hit Store Shelves Soon

on

DropKaffe, the online coffee delivery platform, is venturing into the FMCG model by launching its own coffee based drinks, which will be hitting the shelves of your local stores soon. DropKaffe, launched in March 2015 by three ex-KPMG employees, Chaitanya Chitta, Lakshmi Dasaka, and Rakshit Kejriwal, currently serves on-demand coffee and accompaniments to several parts of Bengaluru.

The Need For On-Demand Coffee

DropKaffe was launched last year after a successful Facebook campaign found the need for on-demand delivery of coffee. Within 10 days of the campaign launch, over 5000 people gave positive response to the project. After a few successful test runs, DropKaffe was finally launched in March of last year.

Although several coffee brands like Starbucks and Cafe Coffee Day have recently launched their own delivery platforms by partnering with food delivery portals Zomato and Swiggy, DropKaffee is one the few online delivery platforms which handles the entire logistics of delivering coffee to your doorstep, from brewing to delivery. After a successful round of funding backed by angel investors in India, Singapore and US, DropKaffe has emerged as a big-time player in the coffee market.
