Famous for the typical Punjabi dhabas in its outskirts, Delhi itself is home to a number of dhabas. Authentic in feel, these have a variety of foods that’ll make you want more until the end of eternity. With butter chickens, paneer tikkas and butter-laden naans so good, you will go back to these places on foot if you have to.

Very cheekily name ‘hotel’, this place is a humble establishment in the outer circle of Connaught Place. The food needless to say is amazing and worth the wait, which is inevitable. A favorite among the locals, few of Kake’s best dishes include kadhai chicken, keema kaleji, shahi paneer and of course butter chicken.

Hidden away in the bustling streets of Sadar Bazar, this dhaba – as the name suggests – if famous for its meat preparations. With everything prepared in pure desi ghee, some of the heavenly things that you must try here are the mutton biryani, mutton curry and chicken curry.
