On-screen superhero and off-screen wit-machine Ryan Reynolds may just have bagged a new day job at actor Hugh Jackman’s coffee shop, Laughing Man Coffee. So, if not in reel life, are Deadpool and Wolverine finally teaming up in real life? And does this mean that Reynolds is also a stellar barista? Questions, questions.
For the uninitiated. Jackman and Reynolds happen to be super tight off-screen, which is probably why the latter was seen visiting the Logan star’s non-profit java company last week. Incidentally, the coffee shop was also hiring at the same time as Reynolds’ visit and so Jackman made perfect use of his friend’s visit and posted a picture on Instagram with the captions: “We put out word that @laughingmancoffee is looking for a new barista ….and, @vancityreynolds shows up? #makeeverycupcount”.
Reynolds’ wife, actress Blake Lively also joined in on the social media charade and commented on the photo, writing, “Is the extra distance between you supposed to convince me that you DON’T love him more than me?? Nice try.”
But that’s not all, the coffee company even posted a story on social media confirming the Deadpool actor’s appointment as a barista! So, the next time you’re visiting Laughing Man Coffee, make sure you ask for their latest recruit to make your cuppa coffee.
P.S. We’re not sure whether for this particular job Reynolds had to fondle, well, stuff (cue, this Deadpool dialogue) but then again he didn’t really get the job. Or did he?
