David Beckham & His Kids Pulled A #SaltBae At The Popular Steakhouse

If you’re a fan of steaks with a side of theatrics then a visit to Salt Bae, a.k.a. Nusret Gökçe’s steakhouse Nusr-et is a given. The steakhouse, which opened its latest outlet in Manhattan has been receiving a fair share of flak from critiques, but that hasn’t come in the way of attracting the who’s who to dine there. The latest diner to join Salt Bae at his restaurant was former footballer David Beckham, who was in New York with his family for the half term holidays and Victoria Beckham’s show at the New York Fashion Week on Sunday.

Beckham and his clan paid a visit to Nusr-et over the weekend and were more than delighted to be entertained by Salt Bae himself. Beckham and Gökçe both shared the highlights of the meal on social media.


The 42-year-old English sportsperson and his young ones, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were all seen artfully seasoning their steak in full Salt Bae style. The footballer shared a video of the master butcher slicing up a steak like a pro as David looked on clearly impressed. The latter captioned the Instagram post saying “Thank you for a great Lunch … Pleasure to meet you and hell of an experience @nusr_et @romeobeckham@cruzbeckham #harperseven @mrbobbyrich. See you in Miami.” Gökçe’s Nusr-et Steakhouse also has an outlet in Miami.
