on

The famous hip and happening place in Mumbai, The Daily Bar and Kitchen is all set to open its second outlet in Pune. The resto-bar has completed five whole years in Mumbai and is a popular party place on the weekends. The first Pune outlet opens at Koregaon Park on 11th March.

Pune Gets The Daily Vibe

“The Daily was designed to be an intimate place which focuses on food and music in a space which has a substantial indoor and outdoor, making it a well spread out restaurant and bar,” says the founder Disha Pritamani talking about the success of The Daily. “After 5 years in the hospitality industry, we are going to stick to our main pillars of strength that are good food, good music and good cocktails. Along with introducing an interesting Healthy Menu, our focus will also be to serve unique coffee and tea blends. We are the first in Pune to have coffee from Koinonia Coffee Roasters – a very popular and renowned artisanal Indian coffee roaster from Mumbai. We lay utmost importance on evolving our menus, providing a unique experience to our customers and ensuring they leave our place happy!”

A press release reveals that the new resto-bar in Pune will be spread across 4,000 square feet and can seat 120 people in its indoor and outdoor sections. The décor of The Daily, Pune is described as having a contemporary, monochromatic theme, an alluring chandelier and framed newspaper clippings. “The design of The Daily at Koregaon Park, is retrained to allow for the black and white binary branding to respond to the verdant setting of the outdoor green in the outside space of our site. We’ve introduced brick flooring and skirting details to bridge the seemingly polar opposites of the above visual experience while the double curved bar occupies and further intensifies the connection between the inside and outside spaces,” says the interior designer and architect Sameep Padora.

What’s In Store For Pune

Talking about what more to expect from the new outlet, partner Nicky Ramnani says, “The Daily All Day has a lovely outdoors space in which we aim to we operate as a co-working café during the day as well. One will see the bar area be converted to a juice bar in the afternoons. We pride ourselves on versatility and the switch from café during the day to a restaurant-bar at night is two experiences we are rather excited to provide our Pune patrons. The Daily’s core being good news, good food and good cocktails and good vibes – that is exactly what we have brought with us to Pune.”
