Costa Coffee Is Ushering In Fall With A Splash Of Mango

on

Whoever said we can enjoy good mangoes only in summer, was clearly wrong.

Move over pumpkin spice, mango had summer and it’s here to take up your thunder too! For all those who were missing the sweet and pulpy goodness of the golden summer fruit, Costa Coffee has some great news for you! And you may want to sit down – at a nearby Costa outlet – for this.

The coffee shop chain has launched a vibrant new Mango range. Complete with a dessert and two cold beverages, the limited period offer spells out summer. This new collection comprises of a Mango Cheesecake, a Mango Fruit Cooler and a Mango Frostino.photo_2016-09-15_22-28-56

The folks over at Costa were gave us a chance to treat ourselves with all the summery mango goodness, and here’s what we thought.

  1. Mango Cheesecake

The dessert stays true to its name and has a rich mango flavor. Topped with a nice chocolate drizzle, the top layer is a mango flavored gelatin film beneath which lies all the creamy cheesecake goodness. Complete with a soft cracker base, the cheesecake was as high on mango as we were on sugar after eating it.feature image mango cheesecake costa

  1. Fruit Cooler

Made with mango syrup and oodles of crushed ice, the fruit cooler is the lovechild of slush and some pulpy mango juice. The flavor in this one was strong and the ice instantly transported our buds to their happy place.

  1. Frostino

Imagine a really well-made mango milk shake and add a dollop or two of more awesomeness to it, and you’ll have yourself Costa Coffee’s Mango Frostino. The beverage was just the right amount of sweet, creamy, thick and mango. Topped off with a generous swirl of whipped cream and mango syrup, this one clearly took the cake.photo_2016-09-15_22-29-05

In a nutshell, the new mango range by Costa should be your pick if you’re craving something sweet and refreshing. Especially if you’re a hardcore mango lover. BRB, going back for another Mango Frostino!
