Chocolate Bark For Christmas Recipe
Inspired by the pieces of tree bark that you sometimes find lying around, chocolate bark is a much more delicious alternative. And it’s really simple and the perfect treat for friends during Christmas. You can serve it in a bowl as a snack or you can serve it as dessert after a heavy meal, giving your friends a chance to just relax and nibble on something small. It takes less than two ingredients, maybe more depending on your toppings.
Whip out that dark chocolate bar and prepare yourself for a treat of a lifetime.
- 2 bars dark chocolate
- Toppings of your choice
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or mix it with a little water and melt in a microwave
- Pour the chocolate in a butter lined pan and spread it out properly
- Add your toppings and then freeze for an hour or more
- To break the bark, you can either cut it with a knife, or drop it gently to a hard surface so that it breaks in odd shapes.
