Chipotle’s pork is back, folks. You can breathe easy again.
Pork Carnitas are back for good!
Chipotle was facing a tiny pork shortage recently. They had to pull out pork carnitas from the menu as they were having trouble with suppliers. Chipotle‘s pork supplier, Niman Ranch has announced that it will be increasing its pork supply to Chipotle to overcome the shortage.
Although they have multiple meat suppliers, Niman Ranch is notable for “their commitment to humane animal care, sustainability and family farming.”
Luckily, Carnitas aren’t actually that popular with Chipotle customers, so it won’t take long to get back pork business as usual.
