Chennai’s Favourite Parsi Restaurant, Batlivala & Khanabhoy, Is Now In Coimbatore

Having made waves and impressed everyone in Chennai, Batlivala & Khanabhoy is finally making its way to Coimbatore. V.M Hospitality, the brand behind restaurants like Savya Rasa (in Pune), Meena Tai’s, Abyssinian and Batlivala & Khanabhoy (in Chennai) as well as Dvara Siruvani, a resort in Coimbatore announced this new addition in a press release this week.

Batlivala & Khanabhoy was launched in early 2016 and has since been recognized by The Rocheston Institue, New York as a “Distinguished Restaurant” and also has a rating of 4.7 on Zomato. The outlet that is opening in Red Fields, Coimbatore is the second for the restaurant.

In South India, Parsi food is not very well known, but ever since the restaurant opened in Chennai, food lovers all over have been treated to a medley of dishes that are filled to the brim with Parsi culture. The restaurant is designed in such a way that when you take a seat, you are completely infused in the Parsi experience.

Mr. Uday Balaji, CEO, VM Hospitality spoke about the new restaurant opening and said, “Coimbatore is a market that has an increasing number of avid food enthusiasts, but has a limited number of speciality cuisine restaurants. Coimbatore being our home, we feel that we should bring in some interesting cuisines and concepts into the city. The first of these is our Parsi Restaurant & Café – Batlivala & Khanabhoy.”

Customers visiting Batlivala & Khanabhoy can be sure to be treated to delicious Parsi food, including 70 dishes like Lollypop na Farcha, Patrani Machchi, Dhansak and Kheema Pav along with their all-day dining menu that features Parsi influenced burgers, signature Parsi floats and milkshakes.
