#ChennaiRoundUp: Food Festivals Happening In The City This Week

Sponsored

There are very many significant things about the month of August, but there’s also no real reason to have elaborate food festivals other than to bring all the food lovers under one roof. None of these food festivals line up with festivals happening in the country, but they definitely celebrate the food of other nations. Whether it’s a satay food festival, giving you the best of vegetarian and non-vegetarian satays, or a street food festival from three different Asian countries, there’s something for everyone.

So plan the rest of your month around these great festivals and let us know if we’ve missed any!

Satay Festival

From August 26th to September 4th, the Thai restaurant at The Park is hosting a Satay festival. Swing by Lotus, at The Park, to indulge in delicious satays with either marinated vegetables and tofu or meat and seafood on skewers grilled and seasoned to perfection.  You can get your hands on some dishes like Thai Issan Tofu Satay or Brunei Tenderloin Satay. Call 044 42676000 to make a reservation today!

Potato Festival

If Pan-Asian is not your cup of tea, then stop by Beyond Indus at Taj Clubhouse for a delicious Potato Festival. Executive Chef Mohammed Siddiq and his team take you on a culinary journey of different ways to prepare potatoes and tingle your tastebuds with these delicious creations. The festival is on from August 19th to August 28th and you can make a reservation by calling 044 66313131.
