Chef’d Is The Next Best Thing For Great Meals At Your Doorstep

on

A new company has been launched to cater to the busy birds of the nation, getting into the home delivery service, which is one of the most trending services right now.

Chef’d, a new start-up based in America, will be entering the meal delivery service, partnering with popular celebrity chefs and featuring the best recipes from super chefs like Alex Guarnaschelli, Man vs. Food‘s Adam Richman, and Top Chef alums Angelo Sosa and Fabio Viviani. Their potential partnerships include Dominique Crenn and Eric Greenspan. Chef’d launched earlier in April and has been widely compared to a similar company, Blue Apron. The service Chef’d offers is for users to be able to order individual meals from an online store rather and enjoy food in the comfort of their home. The company also offers gluten-free, paleo, and vegan selections. Some specials on their menu include grilled shrimp with orange-fennel couscous from Scott Conant and chicken korma with cilantro rice by Simon Majumdar, but they’re not exactly pocket-friendly. Most of the meals are priced at $39 for two, which is quite a lot more than a regular, fast food joint or small café, but more affordable than a high-end, full service restaurant. For those looking for simpler meals, Chef’d offers meals like a simple grilled cheese sandwich, but it will cost you $15 for American cheese and white bread for two people (it also includes fancy pickled Persian cucumbers, we hear).

Many enjoy the convenience of pre-portioned ingredients that Chef’d has to offer. The company has gained popularity as an easy, convenient way for people to put home-cooked meals on the table while reducing food waste.
