Chef Sanjeev Kapoor Becomes Brand Ambassador For Food Festival In Delhi

on

November will bring for us one of the country’s biggest and most expansive food and beverage exhibitions – World Food India. Organised by the Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries, the event will give manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and sellers an opportunity to exhibit their products. Meanwhile, consumers can enjoy a hoard of delicious grubs at the “Food Street’’ that will be hosted by connoisseurs and sommeliers of the world.

Just when we thought the global food, beverage, and hospitality festival couldn’t get any bigger, ace chef Sanjeev Kapoor was brought on board as brand ambassador of ‘Food Street’. As reported earlier, the Food Street is World Food India’s food platform where visitors can gobble and enjoy some of India’s best cuisines, with Bengali food taking center-stage this year.bengali-fish-curry-recipes

Food Street will give visitors a thorough culinary experience complete with master classes hosted by ace chefs; live cooking stations; and a panel discussion by chefs on the future of the food processing industry and how the sector is bound to explode with a plethora of opportunities in the near future.

“I am honoured to be associated with a platform such as Food Street that celebrates food as a means of bringing together cultures, heritage and business… I am excited to be a part of an event of this stature and scale, being hosted for the first time in India, that is sure to delight every foodie’s palate,” Kapoor said in a statement.

“We want to curate a platform that not only celebrates food and cultural diversity, but also provides an avenue for countries and entrepreneurs to collaborate and interact for new business opportunities”, added Union Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal.

According to statement, this will be Food Street’s debut run in India. The global F&B exhibition will be organized in Delhi from November 3-5, 2017 at the Vigyan Bhawan.
