Celebrated Chef Kelvin Cheung Is Behind This New Mumbai Eatery

Mumbai food lovers almost sank into depression when Chef Kelvin Cheung of Elipsis annoucned that he would be leaving the popular resturant and heading back home to the US. However, dry those tears, because Cheung found that he just could not quit Mumbai; he’s all set to open a new eatery – One Street Over in Bandra next month!

All About Kelvin Cheung

Back in 2012, Cheung joined Elipsis in Mumbai and was almost singularly responsible for transforming its negative reputation into a must visit, happening eatery with a focus on fresh, American fare.

Born in Canada and raised in America, Cheung has worked in three continents and managed to drastically change the food scene in India.

One Street Over

Set to open in Bandra soon, One Street Over is a bar that will be serving American comfort food with Korean tastes. The menu is a result of a collaboration between Chef Boo Kwang Kim and Cheung.

The bar will also feature pressed juices, sodas and syrups with which guests can channel their mixology skills to make unique drinks.
