The Hong Kong Club at Andaz Delhi, will ring in Chinese New Year between February 4 – 10, 2019 with an authentic Chinese New Year tasting menu crafted by Chef Fu Hai and his team of regional chefs as well as zodiac inspired cocktails.
The Pig is the twelfth of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac related to the Chinese calendar. In terms of yin and yang (阴阳—yīn yáng), the Pig is yin. In Chinese culture, pigs are the symbol of wealth.
The Zodiac cocktail – “Acorn” is the one inspired by the Pig zodiac and is a must-experience this Chinese New Year. Guests can feast on a sumptuous meal with a tempting choice of seafood, meats, poultry and a variety of vegetarian options as well. Curated by Chef Fu Hai, the menu includes Cantonese delicacies such as Crispy taro, Cantonese Tofu, Black Vinegar, Lobster, Home Pickled Chicken XO Sauce, Leek and Macadamia Nut, Crispy Red Snapper Fish, Star Anise, Chili, Bok Choy Braised Shitake Mushroom, Oyster Sauce, Lamb with Black Pepper, Red Bean Mousse to name a few. Paired with The Hong Kong Club’s exclusive live entertainment program, this Chinese New Year Tasting Menu promises to satiate one’s appetite.
