Today, people across the world are celebrating the first day of the Chinese New Year; the year of the Monkey. Also known as the Spring Festival, the start of the Chinese New Year is followed by fifteen days of celebrations and rituals. To celebrate the year of the monkey, Yauatcha has decorated its space with red origami monkeys. Guests’ attention will be pulled away from the monkeys, however, by the exclusive menu that Yauatcha has released for the New Year, which includes dishes like the kiwi and black olive dumpling, braised pork belly and Yauatcha’s legendary macarons in new flavours.

The global head chef of Hakkasan, Stanley Lum Wah Cheok has created a limited edition menu with dishes that are especially auspicious for the year of the Monkey. On the menu is a clear soup with prawns and scallops, Lamb with vegetables and pine nuts, baked silver cod in miso sauce, stir fry ramen noodles and wok fried chicken. There will also be a special banana and peanut cake topped with five spice infused cream for dessert and a 9 Hou cocktail for drinks. Customers can enjoy the menu at Rs. 2888 per person.
