5 Years Of Gateway Brewing Co

“Continuing the tradition of launching a new beer at every anniversary, this time we have not only made a new beer but created a culinary Belgian experience at the Gateway Taproom called ‘A Walk in Brussels’. Belgian beers have always been a source of inspiration for us at Gateway and in many ways, the reason for our existence. This is your trip to Belgium. Or, perhaps, a tipsy walk in the streets of Brussels,” said Navin Mittal, Co-Founder, The Gateway Brewing Co & The Gateway Taproom in a statement.

Amongst beers, one must try their Belgian Golden Ale, Belgian Wit and Walk in Brussels. You can pair these with a special menu that celebrates delectable European fare. Start off with some Crevette Grise, a lightly poached shrimp salad with assorted lettuce with lemon vinaigrette dressing; Crevette Croquettes made with shrimp and served with tartar sauce; or a Filet Americain made with cured steak tartar on melba toast.

You can also savour Sea Bass Meuniere which is seared filet in parsley brown butter; Carbonnade Flamande, a stew of braised tenderloin chunks, seasoned with thyme and cooked with the Belgian Wit by Gateway; or Waterzooi Ghent a wholesome dish of braised chicken leg with stewed vegetables in a rich creamy sauce. To get the complete Belgium experience try their Belgian Meatball, Moules Frites and Liege Waffles. All in all, celebrate one of the leading craft beer company in the country with sumptuous food and some beer of course!
