It’s very common for many a Mumbaikar to wake up early on Saturday morning, find themselves a ferry (or, if they’re loaded, a private boat) at the Gateway of India and head to Alibaug for the weekend. About 40 minutes away from Mumbai by sea, Alibaug is a coastal town that is frequented by Mumbai residents as a nearby getaway.
While Alibaug has always been a popular destination, we foresee it becoming even more popular with the city’s foodies in the future, thanks to a new delivery service launched by Lower Parel’s Cafe Zoe.
About Cafe Zoe
It’s won the TIMES NOW jury award for the best restaurant debut in Mumbai and has been named one of the ‘hottest’ 24 bars across the world by Conde Nast Travellers.
Cafe Zoe Takes A Boat To Alibaug
With the new delivery service, customers can order Cafe Zoe’s fare from their Alibaug bungalows.
The eatery has opened a weekend delivery kitchen near the town’s Mandwa Jetty. On the menu are light bites like cheese, meats, dips and mini burgers as well as pasta, risotto, lasagna, salads, whole roasts, mains and desserts. They’re also offering marinated meats that you can cook yourself on your outdoor grill; what better way to welcome in summer?
If a delivery of Cafe Zoe sounds exactly like what you need this weekend, give them a call on 9833490490; they take orders from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from Saturday to Sunday.
