Budweiser Might Just Make Beer On Mars A Reality

on

We haven’t yet accomplished the feat of landing on Mars as humans but possibly there could be a cold one waiting for us when we do. According to Food Beast, Budweiser wants to make beer on Mars and begins space testing this December for it.

How Will It Work

The vice president of Anheuser-Bauch expressed the intention of being the first beer on Mars earlier this year. However, the brewery had to have support from the International Space Station (ISS) to make a microgravity brew.

For Budweiser’s ambition, the SpaceX will transport goods like barley seeds and other Budweiser ingredients to the ISS by 4th December. “Budweiser is always pushing the boundaries of innovation and we are inspired by the collective American Dream to get to Mars,” Ricardo Marques, vice president of Budweiser told Food Beast. “We are excited to begin our research to brew beer for the red planet.”

According to further reports, the brewery is conducting two experiments at the space station. The first one is to leave the barley seeds on the station for about a month to see their reaction to outer space. Next step and experiment would be seed germination and here water and will be fed to the seeds to observe their growth rate.
