There really are so many different ways to mince garlic and we hope that what we’re going to explain to you is the ‘perfect method’. So start taking notes.
First of all, we’d recommend using a knife and your hands. You can do it all without the help of a mince press.
Remove the skin and cut the garlic into as tiny pieces as you can. The tinier, the easier to mince. Plus, using a knife doesn’t break open and release the fluids in the garlic, which is part of what makes it so delicious when added to food. Once you’ve cut it into small pieces, pile it all together and keep cutting with the tip of your knife till all you have left on your chopping board are small pieces. And there you have it, minced garlic.
It goes well with just about anything too.
