Ben & Jerry’s Combines Ice Cream And Our Favourite Breakfast For Three New Flavours

For those that did not know, National Cereal Day was on March 7^th in America and to honour that, the most unlikely of brands released something so magical, that we’re still processing it.

Ben & Jerry’s, best known for their delicious ice creams and treats of the ice cream variety has launched three new flavours featuring everybody’s favourite cereals. You’ve got Fruit Loot, Cocoa Loco and Frozen Flakes as part of Ben & Jerry’s Cereal Splashback flavours. Because whoever said that you could only eat cereal with milk?

Fruit Loot is in honour of Fruit Loops, but instead loops mixed in with the ice cream, it’s something more along the lines of Fruity Pebbles. There’s also Cocoa Loco, which some say might be a tribute to Cocoa Krispies or maybe even Cocoa Pops. And then finally there’s Frozen Flakes paying respects to the original brand of toasted corn. The dairy base for all these new flavours is cereal milk which also has crunchy swirls of the respective cereals mixed in.

To answer why this combination happened, Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Guru, Eric Fredette, said in a statement, “Why combine ice cream and cereal? Because the sweet milk at the bottom of a cereal bowl is arguably the best part.”

Very recently, Ben & Jerry’s launched their Pint Slices which is a much easier way to eat a scoop of ice cream without having to make a mess of it by trying to serve it in a bowl or a cone. And they also launched three delicious vegan flavours that are sending the world spinning!

Along with this new addition, Ben & Jerry’s might be winning the ice cream space. However, these flavours are not going to be available in stores, only in Ben & Jerry’s shops. So find the one closest to you and swing on by to try this amazing creation.
