This is how a Beer Fan in Russia Got A Beer Tap Installed in His Kitchen

Love beer? Us too! In this heat, it’s the only thing that keeps us going. At the end of the day, all we want to do is curl up in bed with a cold beer. But alas, we forgot to stop at the liquor store on the way home. Gosh, this bed is just so comfortable, it’s impossible to get up. If only, we had remembered to store it in the fridge.

Sound like a conversation you’ve had before with yourself? We’ve had this happen to us a dozen times. This guy in Russia decided to joke about it to his bar-owner friend. The result? He gets a beer tap installed in his kitchen.

Andrey Yeremeev is a beer lover who loves to walk to the brewery on the ground floor of his apartment building and pick up a nice, cold brew. One day, he casually joked about getting the beer piped right into his kitchen. Next thing he knows, the manager of the brewery sends an engineer to install the system.

A ten metre pipeline now connects the brewery keg to the kitchen. Although fitting the pipeline was more expensive than buying kegs, Andrey says the microbrewery takes care of keeping the drink properly stored and fresh. The arrangement has even been approved by the local council.
